El mausoleo de Amir Temur es uno de los monumentos mejores conservados de la ciudad, fue restaurado y actualmente se encuentra en su situación primitiva. En 1404 por la orden de Temur fue construido el mausoleo el Amir Temur. Este edificio fue dedicado a la memoria de Muhammad Sultán el nieto más querido de Amir Temur que fue abatido en una de las batallas. La grandeza y la ligereza de las líneas arquitectónicas y las formas, la riqueza del mosaico multicolor, todo esto hace que el mausoleo sea único por su arquitectura en Asia Central. El mausoleo es un octógono con un tambor cilíndrico en el interior coronado con una gran cúpula, el exterior está recubierto de mosaicos en color azul verdoso. Dentro del mausoleo están enterrados: Amir Temur, dos de sus hijos – Shajruj y Miranshaj, sus nietos Muhammad Sultán y el gran astrónomo Ulugbek, también el padre espiritual de Amir Temur, el jeque de Medina llamado Mir Sayid Baraka y un santo Shayx-jodzha.
