El necropolis de Shahki-Zinda está situada en Samarcanda, este nombre significa “tumba del Rey Viviente”,y es un complejo de tumbas que albergan a las familias de Temuridas, hoy en día es un lugar sagrado para muchos peregrinos uzbecos, hombres con sus gorros bordados, mujeres con sus pañuelos floreados y sus vestidos estampados. Es un tesoro escondido en esta ciudad, cuyo lugar más famoso como la Plaza de Registan, que se mezclan entre la maravillosa sinfonía de azulejos de todos los tonos azules, que recuerdan a las mezquitas iraníes con las cúpulas, arcos, y motivos geométricos…
Llegamos a través de un cementerio actual, donde muchas tumbas exhiben la cara del difunto en una serigrafía que reproduce las fotos a la perfección… La moda actual, también en otros lugares ya instalada y tan remotos. El mejor escenario, sin duda, para aproximarse a este lugar tan fascinante y tranquilo para viajar a Uzbekistan.
