Aujourd'hui, la police de tourisme assure la sécurité des touristes et des lieux touristiques tout en étant au service des voyageurs pour moindre information ou aide. Il ne faut pas hésiter à s'adresser à la police en cas de problème (perte, campriolage, agression) ou les appeler par le numéro d'urgence 102.
Le gouvernement ouzbek met tout son effort pour assurer la sécurité des citoyens et des étrangers present sur la territoire de la république.
